Shuhong Zhuo

Shuhong Zhuo worked for the Yuexiu District Sub-bureau of Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau before joining the China Lawyer Association in 1997. He then started Guangdong Guozhi Law Firm and acted as their senior partner before joining Tsao-Wu, Chow & Yee LLP.

Mr. Zhuo has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of finance, security, mergers and acquisition, and real estate. His distinguished clients include Guangdong Hydropower Group Co., Ltd.; Guangdong Sea View Investment Group Co., Ltd.; Bank of China; Agricultural Bank of China; SunPath Investments. Ltd.; Shoreline Capital; Guangdong Hengwang Investment & Development Co., Ltd.; Guangzhou Yongchi Logistics Limited Company; and Guangzhou Dongsheng Fuel Limited Company.

Mr. Zhuo’s areas of legal expertise include both criminal litigation and civil litigation. He represented one of the defendants in the case of Sunzhigang; the results of which changes the Internment and Repatriation system in China. He also represented Guangdong Black Swan Food Cultural Co. Ltd. in Harbin Black Swan Group Co. Ltd. v. Guangdong Black Swan Food Cultural Co. Ltd.; this case was recently proclaimed by the China’s Guangdong Intellectual Property Office to be one of the most influential cases that have helped shaped Intellectual Property laws in Guangdong Province.

He also currently is on the Board of Directors for GuangDong Merchant Venture Capital Limited; Guangzhou Baijuyi Investment Co., Ltd.; Guangzhou Youth Research Association of law; and Shanxi J&R Fire Fighting Co. Ltd. Which is a publicly traded company listed on China’s Growth Enterprise Market (GEM).
