Tsao-Wu, Chow and Yee 's experienced team of construction group lawyers specializes in the representation of developers, general contractors, design professionals and subcontractors in all areas of construction law. In the area of construction litigation, our aim is to develop ways to aggressively represent our clients in a cost-effective manner, including formatting and operating successful joint defense agreements; in fact, our firm was one of the first firms to successfully operate a joint defense agreement nearly a decade ago. Our lawyers have extensive experience in handling litigation involving single-family detached homes, common area developments and apartments, as well as matters involving commercial structures. We work closely with our clients to elicit their input and experience in defending these matters and coordinate defense strategies with the insurer in order to develop the most effective and efficient defense.
